22:40 CEST: Mbappe knows his fate
With RMC Sport reporting that Real Madrid have abandoned negotiations for Mbappe, the PSG man will respect the last year of his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
22:15 CEST: Willian leaves Arsenal
After just one season with the Gunners, Willian has left Arsenal and in the process given up 24m euros to join Corinthains. FULL STORY HERE
21:30 CEST: Hudson-Odoi could stay in England
It looked like Hudson-Odoi would be on his way to Borussia Dortmund, but now he could be staying in the Premier League, with Sky Sports reporting that Leicester City are interested in a permanent move for the winger.
20:45 CEST: Javier Pastore leaves Roma
Roma and Javier Pastore have come to an agreement of the termination of the Argentine’s contract with the Giallorossi. Since joining Roma in 2018, Pastore made 37 appearances for the club, and scored four times.
20:30 CEST: Real Madrid pull out of Mbappe talks
According to RMC Sport, Real Madrid have withdrawn from negations with PSG over a deal for striker Kylian Mbappe. Despite the breakdown in talks, the French outlet was keen to stress that nothing can be ruled out until the transfer window is closed.
19:30 CEST: Cristiano offered himself to Barcelona
According to Catalunya Radio, Cristiano Ronaldo offered himself to Barcelona via his agents. The Blaugrance ruled out the option immediately.
18:19 CEST: Bakayoko re-joins AC Milan
AC Milan have announced the arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea. The midfielder will join on a two-year loan deal, with the Rossoneri obliged to make the move permanent if certain conditions are met. Bakayoko was previously with Milan during the 2018/19 season.
17:30 CEST: Barcelona and Leipzig reach Ilaix agreement
Barcelona have come to a deal with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Ilaix Moriba. The player is set to leave the Camp Nou for 15-20m euros. FULL STORY HERE
17:00 CEST: Sabitzer joins Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have signed Sabitzer from RB Leipzig for a fee of 15m euros. The player will take No.18 and penned a deal with the Bavarian club until 2025.
16:00 pm (BST): Mbappe’s latest social media post
Mbappe has published a new post on Instagram, although it doesn’t offer any clues about his future. He has arrived at the French national team camp and shared a photo along with emojis in the colours of the French flag.
15:45 pm (BST): Kang-In Lee lands in Mallorca
After spending a decade coming through the Valencia youth academy, Kang-In Lee has now joined Real Mallorca on a free transfer. The island club announced the signing with a video that mimicked PSG‘s Messi announcement video.
15:35 pm (BST): Sabitzer’s move is official.
Julian Nagelsmann has his man, with Bayern Munich having signed Marcel Sabitzer from RB Leipzig, their coach’s former club, in a deal worth around 15m euros. The midfielder has signed a contract that’ll run to 2025.
15:30 pm (BST): Sky say Real Madrid will offer 200m euros for Mbappe
Sky Sports are reporting that Real Madrid will increase their offer to PSG for Mbappe to 200m euros. It could be structured as 170m euros as a fixed fee and then 30m euros more as potential add-ons.
15:14 pm (BST): Torino want free agent Mustafi
Shkodran Mustafi is currently a free agent, most recently having played for relegated Schalke. He could now make a move to Torino, with the player’s father already in Italy to negotiate the move.
14:20 pm (BST): A battle to sign Samu Castillejo
Samu Castillejo will leave AC Milan on loan, according to Calciomercato. There are two teams said to be battling for the Spaniard, namely Sampdoria and Real Sociedad. It’s a race against time and against each other to sign the 26-year-old.
13:50 pm (BST): Bellerin linked with Barcelona
Barcelona are close to moving Emerson on to Tottenham, partly to bring in some cash and partly because they have sufficient cover at right-back with Oscar Mingueza and Sergi Roberto. But, now they’re being linked with an acquisition of another right-back, with Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky reporting that they could make a move for Hector Bellerin.
13:35 pm (BST): PSG and Real Madrid are negotiating!
MARCA’s own Jose Felix Diaz is reporting that PSG and Real Madrid are currently negotiating over a potential Mbappe transfer. PSG‘s stance is firm and there are reports that they won’t sell for less than 200m euros, but talks are at least taking place.
12:55 pm (BST): Barcelona may sell Emerson
Emerson earned his first start for Barcelona on Sunday, but he could now depart for Tottenham. According to Sport, he could move for 23m euros, including bonuses.
12:23 pm (BST): Daniel James could leave Manchester United
According to The Athletic and Football Insider, Manchester United would be willing to sell Daniel James for 30m euros, given that they’ve brought in other similar players this summer. Leeds United are said to be a prime candidate.
11:48 am (BST): Lazaro to join Benfica
Inter and Benfica are very close to completing the transfer of Valentino Lazaro to the Portuguese club. The Austrian midfielder will move on loan with a purchase option of 8.5m euros.
10:50 am (BST): The Mbappe post that will concern Real Madrid fans
Kylian Mbappe hasn’t spoken much during this saga, but he did post a message on social media after scoring both goals in PSG‘s 2-0 win over Reims on Sunday. “Perfect night,” was how he described the victory, a message that has Real Madrid fans concerned. Does this means he’s happy to stay at PSG and to focus on the Ligue 1 title race?
10:10 am (BST): Cucurella is moving to Brighton
Brighton will pay 18m euros to Getafe for Marc Cucurella, with the Spanish winger to move to the Premier League. Official confirmation is expected soon, but Cucurella has already played his last minutes for the Azulones.
9:58 am (BST): Sabitzer to join Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for Marcel Sabitzer to join the Bavarian club. According to Bild, the price is around 15m euros.
9:42 pm (BST): Pjanic’s Juventus return is in the final stages
Miralem Pjanic, Barcelona and Juventus will be in touch throughout this Monday, with the midfielder looking to move back to Turin to work with Massimiliano Allegri once again.
9:20 am (BST): Saul could stay
He may have been linked with a transfer away from Atletico Madrid for most of the summer, but it now appears that Saul might stay at the club. President Enrique Cerezo has said he hopes Saul stays, although he has also pointed out that anything can happen in the final days of a transfer window.
9:09 am (BST): Ilaix Moriba is close to a Bundesliga move
Tottenham have pulled out of the race to sign Ilaix Moriba, according to Fabrizio Romano. That leaves RB Leipzig as the leading candidates to sign the midfielder from Barcelona. The player’s agents already have personal terms agreed.
8:50 am (BST): It’s 80m euros if Chelsea want Kounde
Sevilla‘s stance with Jules Kounde is clear. If Chelsea want to sign the centre-back, then they’ll have to pay his release clause of 80m euros.
8:33 am (BST): Maximum tension in the Mbappe saga
Real Madrid and PSG are still engaged in a trial of strength for the future of Kylian Mbappe. Today could be a key day in this saga, with the player to join up with the France squad at 13:00 CEST and with Real Madrid having set a deadline of 18:00 CEST for their offer of 170m euros plus 10m euros in add-ons to be accepted or rejected.
